My answer is 12 days before Chuck has twice as much as Barb's chain.
This is how I got the answer: I made a table and listed it until Chuck has twice as much as Barb.
Barb=9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18
Chuck=3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30,33,36

My answer is 15, because I made a chart showing Barbs amount of links, which started with 9, and added the amount he connected every day. I then, made a chart for Chuck which started with 3. I added to the charts by however many links that each of them connected each day. I counted each day until I noticed the 15 day where the number of links on Barbs chain was half the number of links on Chucks chain.
First I made a table then I labled it days, barb, and chuck.Then I counted 1 links for barb and counted 3 links for chuck each day until I ended up on day 15.Barb ended up having 24 links,and chuck had 48 links.

My answers are sixteen and fifteen you add one to b and three to c for sixteen I counted the number they already had and for sixteen I did not count the first day.
Barb has 1, Chuck has 3, 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24 for Chuck, 1,2,3, for Barb. I think its 2 days.

It is 16 days because the 16th day is the last day before Chuck's links are twice Barb's. On the 17th day, 54 is greater than 26 doubled (52).

My anwser is day 17. This is how i got it.
1. I drew a graph I had 4 colums I started out with 9 for barb and kept adding 1.
2.I kept adding 3 for chuck and I listed the days.
3. Then I got to 27 and 54. I added 27 + 27 = 54 and I got 54.
My answer is day 17.
The total number of days it tookt to get Chucks chain twice as long as Barbs chain is 15 days.

I got my answer by simply adding up all the links until I got my answer.

First I wrote down all the information that I needed to know. Next in one column I added Barb's links and the other I added Chuck's links side by side labeling till I got to day 15 and in Barb's column it was 24 links and in Chuck's it was 48 links.
I used a CHART to solve this problem. I wrote a number of days and then kept adding 1 for Barb and 3 for Chuck. Until Chuck's was 2x that of Barb's, I added links. My final answer is 15 days. Then, Barb will have 24 and Chuck will have 48.(Note: I sent you the chart.)

Barb wire has exactly 1/3 of the chains as Chuck Stake. I make a time line to find out which day Chuck Stake had twice as much as Barb wire this is what it looks like.

So 48 is twice as much as 24 it both the lines they were both on the 16th day so the answer is

How I solved my problem is by doing a pattern until I got Chucks Stake number of beads double of Barb Wire.Then i counted the number of days it took chuck to double barb.
I know that chuck starts out with 3 links and barb starts with 9 beads. I also know that barb adds 1 link a day and chuck adds 3 links a day.

It would take 32 days for Chuck to be exactly twice more than Barb.
If Chuck starts on day 9 (barb already will have 9 links) it will take 24 days for Chuck to have 48 links and Barb 24. For Barb you count by ones, for Chuck you count by threes. So on day 24 Barb will have 24 links and Chuck will have 48. I made a chart to show my work.
